Cabo Verde

Sal is an island just 30km long and maximal 14km wide, with routhgly 50,000 inhabitants in Cape Verde, off the coast of West Africa (closest African mainland: Senegal). Sal is a tourist destination with white sandy beaches and over 350 days of sunshine a year.

- Mainly all inclusive beach vacations in Riu / Melia / Robinson / Hilton etc

- Many surfers, all varieties (Kite surfing, wind surfing, foils, normal short boards etc)

- And it's not a too well known diving destination, but the fish life is abundant, especially the large shools of soldier, doctor, cornet and porcupine fishes. I was positively suprised, maybe a bit less large rays and groupers as in Madeira, but other than that, more smaller fish in schools.
